Agreed. We were hamstrung and had to take Zion, but having to "settle" for Ja really worked out in Memphis' favor.

Ja isn't that dude, he's not winning anything unless he's in a supporting role, he's not a #1. Not even close.

But would he fit better with our squad talent than Zion…his style of play ‘might’ be more conducive to our depth being successful.
One thing is for certain… he is a dog, he’s in shape, he wants to win. Thats 3 things…

I don’t blame Zion for not being a fit. He’s not a fit because our coaching staff doesn’t know how to use him.

So I don't get all these wishes that we had drafted him. Seems it would make more sense to wish we traded December 2023 Zion for a monster haul instead, as that would make more sense than hitching our wagon to another dude who isn't good enough but making a shite ton of money.
