My paw paw, my uncle, and my mom were/are all basketball coaches. Basketball was the sport I stuck with the longest competitively growing up, and even recreationally I would hit the UREC going into college. It's the sport I had to grow up rooting for the Magic and the Lakers because Shaq was there and we didn't have a team. When we finally got a team I was ready to support them with all my heart because I really wanted an NBA team the way I did with LSU and the Saints.

Since coming here we had the CP3 years and that year we swept the Blazers, and then the calendar year of 2022 was good, and then bang suddenly the year turns into 2023 and suddenly our basketball fortunes all get flushed down the toilet bowl and we're sitting here questioning the future of the franchise yet again like we've seemingly done every damn year except for brief pockets of time.
