It was pretty obvious he didn’t want to be here when he got bitter over random Pelicans fans criticizing his god awful play and started liking and responding to tweets about going back to the Jazz in the middle of the season

During that 13 game stretch without Favors we went 3-10. When he came back we were like 19-10 at one point. He also had the highest defensive rating on the team then. Some of you have really short memories.
To be very clear: I'm not advocating we should have resigned him. At least not for that money.

I didn’t hate him like a lot of people did but I also wouldn’t give him 3/$30 when we are going to be a lottery team next year in a full rebuild. Find a cheap vet C for $5 million and give Hayes more minutes to see if he can take that next step.
