I agree with everything you said except I don't see his path to a starter, which you may have been implying at the end. I could see it if Zion were our C in the future and he could start at PF, but i don't think thats best for Z; and obviously he COULD start at PG, but i just think CJ Zion BI and Herb would be better suited for it than him, and i'd still like us to pursue a better PG option than to have to put one of those guys there anyway. He's a wing imo, is all im saying really

CJ will only be here 2 more years max, and very possibly just 1 more year, so he can slot in there.

I don't really see a world where we start something like BI/Herb/Trey/Zion/Center...I just don't see that happening.

Right, neither do I. And yes CJ is fine there. If it were anyone else it would be Zion, but point-Z is just something we do sometimes. I do think we need another starting quality guard more suited to pg duties going forward though, and have for years too, honestly.
