Might see Bledsoe for NAW switch with Bledsoe running second unit and Kira getting all backup PG minutes.

Start Bledsoe and NAW. But switch Hart and Bledsoe early. Bledsoe starts but gets most minutes with second team.

It should be:

Bledsoe/ NAW

NAW/ Hart/ JJ

Bledsoe/ Kira (prob Zo 1st for now)

Kira/ Lonzo

Very interested to see if we can get a lineup with Lonzo and Kira up top and see how it goes. That could give us pretty simple answers as to what works and fits better.

Trading JJ for a shooter is redundant.

NAW may have something to say about that before the season is over.

Easy there

I don't know if people know this but JJ and Lonzo are free agents after the season. Wanting them to do anything while waiting for them to walk is redundant. I said this at the end of last year but what is the point of being content with JJ and giving him many minutes when he is not part of the future, takes minutes from other guys, and won't help us win anything?

I'd rather see him on a contender and give Kira/ NAW extra minutes. It really has nothing to do with his production, even if he plays well what does it matter after he is gone?

If he was a great defender this would be another conversation. JJ is gone after this year. We have 5 guys in Hart, Bledsoe, Kira, NAW, and Lonzo who could be a part of our future team so I'd rather them play more. Also Bledsoe and Adams are the vets we need so that excuse doesn't work.

This team needs 2 players right now and that is PJ Tucker and Pat Beverly. I doubt Pat goes anywhere until the offseason tho. Ive heard his name around before and he looked like he was chatting up with players/ coaches after our game.

Also would go after Kelly Olynyk in free agency.

Beverly/ Lewis
NAW/ Bledsoe/ Hart
BI/ Hart/ Tucker
Zion/ Tucker/ Olynyk
Adams/ Hayes / Olynyk

I get that. And am not against trading JJ at all - especially if it's somewhere he wants to be. It would depend on who we got in return vs JJ's willingness to resign after this year.

Why would you start Bev and Bled?

Eh, I think there's real value in having trusted vets like JJ not just around the locker room but on the court.

I'm not saying it could never work out, but if we just were rolling out 30+ minutes with Zion/BI/NAW/Kira/Hayes or whatever(you get the point) that could potentially create many issues with dudes creating bad habits and not having enough time on the court with dudes who do it the right way to help create those good habits.

I understand but that was also a situation for last year. This year is contract year time. JJ was supposed to help the guys last year and see if they have gotten better this year. He is also there to help prevent issues. NAW is hitting his mark and Lonzo can't be helped by JJ. Lewis must learn from Bledsoe. Also JJ isn't helping prevent those issues and it looks to be out of his control.

If we didn't have JJ and were rolling out with 30+ min of Zion, NAW, BI, Kira Hayes, then its literally our roster next year.... I'd rather them look like shite and figure it out now > JJ jumping 7 feet sideways to take a contested 19 ft jumper.

I was just putting the players in. It would be Pat/ NAW with Kira/ Bled off the bench. The hope is to eventually have Kira/ NAW with Pat/ Bled off the bench.

To have a dream bench of

Pat Bev
Bledsoe
Hart
Tucker
Hayes/ Olynyk

You keep Zo starting, at least to the break, and see if his game picks up which I think it will. Bledsoe and Kira can kickstart the second unit. Thought we’d see Gabriel last night but curious to see what he brings. SVG has good pieces but needs to bring it together.

I think you have to give NAW a chance in order to push Lonzo. Either start Bledsoe and NAW or NAW with Lonzo. Lonzo will either play smarter and gain control or lose his shite. There is no inbetween.

I've been hyping up Gabriel for a while, really want to see him play. Also Naji Marshall could be a diamond in the rough if the opportunity somehow presents itself.

Bledsoe doesn't want to be in NO
Pels will find a way to f this up - probably trade one of NAW and Kira before even figuring out what they can provide

If Bledsoe wants out then he would certainly be shopped along with Lonzo, picks, and maybe JJ.

If Bledsoe doesn't want to be here then the order of decisions is trade Bled, then trade Lonzo, then let JJ stay or send him where he wants.

NAW and Kira aren't going anywhere. The reason we acquired so many picks/ swaps is for a purpose such as this. We can send Lonzo, Bled, etc with unproven future picks instead of losing our young assets. Do you have a link on that Bledsoe comment?
