This is the type of guy I really hope we can bring on board. He’s a great 3 point shooter with a high basketball IQ and won’t kill you on defense either. He will get a big raise in pay this year but still shouldn’t be anything too crazy. I think he’d be a great guy to target with the MLE especially if we don’t bring Hart back.

I actually think he’d be a good addition. He’s not just a guy who can shoot, he can shoot on the move. That’s a skill we desperately need post-JJ.

I like him fine. But he is a back up shooting SF. We have 4 2nd round picks. I believe we can find someone like him and spend money elsewhere..

I love having draft picks but you don’t have time to wait for them to mature into useful role players, you have to appease Zion now. McDermott is a plug and play rotation player that gives you 25 quality minutes a night and he provides desperately needed shooting.

I’m without a doubt the king of let’s make more second round picks around here, but that is a really dumb belief you got there thinking you can find Doug McDermott in The 2nd round.
You make 2nd round picks with the thought of grooming them for a year or two, not finding a 40% 3 point shooting stretch 4 that can play immediately.
