I know, MSB MSB...but it shines a spotlight on how some teams just do not get the benefit and others do

He's right--- the league is projecting jump shooter much more than guys driving to the lane or playing in the paint. Amazing how you can pump fake and the defender bakery grazes the shooter and foul is called but the same move in the paint requires the defender to damn near tear your head off before they call a foul.

I could really give two shits if they want to call tight or let things go in the paint. Just be consistent and call it both ways. I'm pretty sure every basketball player would agree with that.

The lack of calls Jrue gets is ridiculous. I'd say a lot of the calls AD thinks he's not getting aren't fouls, although the one late last night after he was raped getting the offensive rebound and putting it back up had about 4 fouls in it. AD drives and falls all the time. Just b/c you were off balance a bit and go to the ground doesn't mean it's a foul.

Doc Rivers failed to mention that his game plan was to aggressively pressure the ball handlers full court which led to many non-shooting fouls which put the Rockets in the bonus much earlier.

The Clippers were also fouling at the end because they were behind, which led to free throws.

The refs were letting them play and it was physical. Free throw discrepancy doesn’t tell the story.

I think there is validity to the complaint. And, the calls when a jump shooter throws himself at the defender are BS.

But, let's not pretend that there should be equal contact on the inside and the outside. If you affect a jump shooter via contact, it should be a foul.
