Honestly not bummed by this after everything this offseason. Griffin will find someone capable. I also don’t think Griffin is sitting there giving out promises to assistants (Finch) to be HCIW. The most likely scenario is that Erman was stripped of the HCIW title or fired to bring in a new assistant with a fresh outlook and attitude. The team let him leave instead of embarrassing him publicly.
Imo. I don’t think a fresh perspective hurts either with everyone that’s coming in from elsewhere. It actually brings an opportunity for the team to bond as a unit. No one player knows the upcoming defensive scheme more than any other. There’s not 6 guys saying this is what he wants to 6 new guys. Jrue will still lead by example with his work ethic and all will be fine.

They showed Erman on television last night, and he looked like he is about 18 years old. Kinda looked like some Silicone Valley whiz kid, though.
