I was avoiding the crowd talk, but it looks REALLY bad for a Friday nighter against an exciting team. I really wanted to go, but expenses prevent it for the next week or three (making solid money at Trane, but haven't gotten paid since I started 3 weeks ago because of some weird timing).

I wanted to go tonight. But I couldn't get out of BR till 5:30...and w/ state HS playoffs going on in the Dome...wasn't fighting it when can watch it on tv. I think that may play a factor tonight

it's not THAT bad.
Remember our good playoff run? The first half of that season the Hive was empty. After the all-star break it really picked up. Just the way it works around here. It will pick up if the Hornets stay good. We have never did well early in teh season

I went to a Friday night game vs. the Spurs and there wasn't 10K people there. No excuse though, crowds need to be better.

I think its time we accept people just dont give that much of a shite about the Hornets. If people have other things to do they are going to do those things instead of going to the games. It doesnt happen for Saints games but for whatever reason people here dont get behind this team.

One thing that kills us is the tv deal.
But people still will support them...just have to get past beginning of season.
During the run year.....they ahd articles on espn and other major outlets talking about how the fans weren't supporting such a young exciting team.
The 2nd half although a bandwagon base...the Hive was a huge home court advantage. I just don't understand the freak out about attendance when early in the year it has never been good.

Because people expect people to just all of a sudden start to show up since they started off so good... when its always the same thing with the Hornets
