can you trade an injured player?

trade deadline soon.
turner now has broken foot bone.

if buyer accepts all risk would nba certify a deal involving one or both injured?

Yes. Denver just traded 2 injured players to Boston. You obviously need to disclose the injury, but if the other team is ok with it...

The bigger question is if they can't even get a protected first and prospect for Turner, do they just hold onto him til the offseason hoping his value will go back up if they are confident it can be rehabbed by then?

That seems like a possible scenario
