Yep.

Sounds cheesy and not “manly,” but this time last season the team was starting to tune out because SVG decided to attack the players instead of showing compassion and empathy.

Which isn’t to say Willie hasn’t made a few calculated public criticisms, but they were just that, calculated, while SVG was just lobbing bombs at the team and even though he would say out loud he needed to take responsibility, between the lines it always sounded more like he was trying to make sure blame went their way and not his. While grinding them all into the ground. And it’s not hard to see why players were like frick this.

Hope there was supposed to be a not in there between least and Josh, because Hart has been the heart(no pun intended) in our recent uptick.

He just brings it in whatever way will help us win night in and night out and his energy is infectious.

He takes on the toughest defensive assignments when on the court and he has low key become a really solid facilitator and fast break playmaker.

December is going to be a great month for this squad. They're going to rack up a bunch of wins with that soft schedule.

Can we realistically win 3 out of every 5 the rest of the way? That puts us at 42-40 (admittedly I'm assuming they still play 82)

That doesn't SOUND so herculean .. although it would be nice if we could go a few nights without two guards (always NAW) going 4 for 25

Why are no coaches screaming at NAW to drive to the goal. It’s what he’s good at. Literally the worst statistical part of his game is shooting 3s (especially stepbacks) off the dribble If he just shot open catch and shoot 3s and then drove and passed, he’d be a legit good player

This is exactly what I have been screaming at my TV set

Unfortunately, NAW is also terrible at catch and shoot threes.

He's only taken 17 contested threes all season(made just 1 of them), and on the rest? He's 32%.

Even on wide open threes where the defender is 6+ feet away he is barely 33%.

And it's frustrating because he has probably the league's best shooting coach in practice with him every day and I've never heard of him utilizing him, not once.

He should definitely take less 3 pointers and be taking them only when wide open. He is really good at attacking the rim and seems to be capable using both hands. He should be doing that more often and play to his strengths. I really hope Vinson can change his shot

Yes, but the problem is that he is bad at finishing at the rim (though he is better than last year). What he needs to do next offseason is spend a bunch of time in the weight room, add 15 lbs. of muscle, and then start posterizing people.
