We all hate Klutch, but kudos to them getting Ingram out of here and that new deal. Paul is right. He would struggle to get 100M on the open market, especially after missing most of the season. It's a huge deal. I'm very happy we weren't the one that gave it to him. I don't think people understand, he wasn't staying here for less than 200M. He wanted a 5 year deal (because we could give it to him), and 40M+ a year. He thought we owed him. We let it go on too long and I think it poisoned the squad last year, it hanging over their heads..

What's Zion's winning percentage without Jrue Holiday, CJ Mccollum, Brandon Ingram, Jonas, Naji, Josh Hart, Larry Nance, and Dyson Daniels?
I'd be willing to bet that it's 38% or lower. And he will have none of those players on the squad with him this season.

Um yeah I do. Are you saying he didn't want a max deal?
He was offered an extension for more money and more years. He wanted to bet on himself and make us give him the max or close to it. His agent said that last year. He just miscalculated a bit and is putting a positive spin on it.
So which part am I making up?

Pretty much all of it other than he wanted the most money and years he can get, which is true of everyone on earth.
