This team is still losing even with Trey, CJ, and Dejounte back because they have nobody with gravity to free up Trey and CJ. If they are ready to trade Zion, I can see the argument for keeping BI. They need someone defenses will scheme for to free up the role players. Trading both seems like a path to a hard reset.

Lavine is a better player on a much worse contract. He has only played 65 games 4 times in 10 years. That's better than Ingram ( 1 time in 8 years), but still ridiculous for 45 million a year. For a contender willing to pay significant tax penalties, Lavine has more value. For a budget franchise, neither has any value at a cost above 30 million a year.
