Better to make no deal than to make a deal for the sake of doing it.

Joe actually impressed me with his willingness to let the draft unfold instead of forcing a bad trade like last year that thankfully didn’t turn out too bad.

Probably a better idea to trade this year than last though. We should rebuild. Every year Trey and Herb lose value. They’re our only assets. We need to get younger to be on Fears and Queen timeline.

They will have just as good of value mid season. Both still on great team friendly contracts. In a shooting dominated league I’m not trading my best shooter who is also 6’10” and athletic as all hell.

I can see it both ways. I can easily see a scenario where he overvalued Trey and Herb pretty heavily. Or maybe there wasn’t any good offers on the table and he didn’t force it. Personally, I think the first is more likely. It would have been nice to add another guy to add to Fears, Queen, and Missi. But there’s also the age old saying that these picks were more valuable than the players that were actually selected with them.

I want to know what Milwaukee wants for Kel’el Ware. We own their pick next year I’d gladly build a trade with that as the cornerstone of a deal. The Bucks want to lose now to rebuild so I could see them be willing to flipping Ware.

Yeah it makes sense the way it happened. We can see how the season plays out. Their contracts are long enough and I don’t see either forcing their way out. So we can see either if we’re ahead of schedule or can dump at the deadline.

We are lucky that both Trey and Herb are consummate professionals. There won’t be any bullshite with those guys.
