Well no. But he doesn't have nearly as much room for improvement as other players.
Why not?
He's as athletic as any guard in this draft except maybe Ross and Beal, He's smart and will work as hard as any at perfecting his game.

while a good athlete, Rivers is not known for athleticism. Still a good athlete nonetheless.

Which makes it even better. He's a very good athlete but is so talented that he isn't labeled as "a very good athlete".

I'd love a center too but if not I hope AD can help J-Smith on D.

yeah, that's not bad either... i hear we're keeping oak on to help AD so that's cool.

I can see Rivers or lilliard on the team for a while and having one of them on the starting five with EG, Minu, Davis and Smith or whomever. And smith and AD switching off and on PF and Center for whomever feels like they play better. Not bad, and EG or R/L can bring the ball up and what not since they could play both guard positions...

Yeah Mek and AD are better on D, but I like J-Smith better on offense. If Smith can develop a right hand hook and bulk up.

I guess I'll be happy with either.

Honestly, if we keep mek for the duration i won't be mad. a forward/center squad with ayon, davis, smith, and mek is not bad. a good balance off offense and defense in there, rotating in and out

would have been great if we had been able to move Kaman for a mid 20's pick. Davis, 10th pick, 25th-ish pick.

Pair Kaman and Jack and we gotta top 15 pick.

I also feel like all of them can play the 5 if they need to. Ayon is pushing it.

Fine. Someone please tell me what makes Damian Lillard so desirable. I would love more reason behind your love for him so maybe I can see his positive aspects like the rest of you.

Exactly. Austin Rivers has an NBA coach and is very smart. He can provide some offense for a team who is already awesome on defense, and I think so better than Lillard can because of the tougher opponents in the ACC. I'll never forget his confidence when he drained the 3 over Zeller to win at Chapel Hill. I know he's young but I think he can bring a very good attitude to this team, and I would be thrilled if we drafted him.

What attitude, that of an entitled douchebag? He's Ben Gordon 2.0. He's a streaky gunner who MIGHT penetrate a little better.

I did just recently find out he was a PG instead of a regular G, so that helps clear things up. You know what, as long as they draft Davis then I don't care who they draft or don't draft later. I just hope Damian--if he's the man we draft after AD--will be ready and fulfill the expectations.

Rivers, the son of Celtics coach Doc Rivers, has known Williams since he was a small child.

"I love Monty, and not just because I've known him my whole life," Rivers said. "He's the guy that it doesn't matter who you are or what your relationship is, when you step in those lines, he's going to coach you like anybody else. ... I think he's a great coach."

Rivers said the Hornets' predraft workout was his first, and that there were other teams that might be a good fit for him, but added, "I'm here for a reason, because I feel like I fit with this team well."

"I like this team. I like this area and I think it's on the rise," Rivers said. "I really feel like it's going in a positive direction. They have two top-10 picks in a really stocked draft."
