fixed.

I was at the arena today and for anyone else who was there could clearly see it wasn't a sellout and certainly nowhere near 17k. the tickets had to have been bought out in blocks by the organization or businesses in support. at least a third of the lower bowl and nearly half the upper bowl was empty.

where you there? because if you were you could clearly see tons of empty seats throughout the entire game. who knows exactly how many, but there were a lot and looking at the DVR now even on TV you could see how spread out the seats were.

it was a decent crowd, but nowhere near the "technical" sellout mark of 17k'ish

See if you knew what sellout meant, you'd know it's about selling, not attending.

That'd be an attendout.

Big words hurt, don't they? Yes they do! Yes they do!

you're perhaps the biggest brown noser that I have ever come across on a message board. your ignorance on the issue and low basketball IQ makes any type of conversation pointless. like talking to a wall.

of course I know what a sellout means. I have been a season ticket holder since the team returned back from OKC. I along with countless other legit fans who actually financially support the team have seen the crowds on a weekly basis. the topic in this thread is the ATTENDANCE being 17,246 tonight and it certainly wasn't anywhere near that. hence why I said the numbers had to be assisted by either the organization or local businesses buying out blocks of tickets to boost the numbers.

i think you don't know what a brown noser is.

your issue is with the nba choosing to use that word to mean something else.

that's it.

you need to realize that and stop making yourself look less intelligent than you are.

I never said that you said it was near a sellout. I was referring to the fact that a "Technical" sellout is around the listed attendance number from tonight and the reality is the actual attendance was absolutely nowhere near that number.

I just looked up the term brown noser and there was a picture of your avatar next to it. you're the typical newbie NBA fan who thinks that you're all high and mighty because you kiss the team, the coaches, and the players arse and look down upon anyone who dares to criticize or question them. you need to take a step back and realize that not everyone agrees with your viewpoint.

I think you have ignored my criticism of the team.

And I don't think you looked up the definition.

See, you need to make up stuff about me to attack. I however just have to quote you and say "this is wrong."

calling it a pissing match dignifies these posters more than necessary.

just my opinion, but people who never ever seem to read anything deserve what they get when they keep repeating themselves about the same, unchanging facts.

talk about hypocritical!
you sir are the KING of making personal attacks at anyone who's post you don't agree with. anything posted by that guy Broosevelt or whatever the hell his screename is you immediately go to personal attacks. same thing with myself and others. if you don't like a thread about the pathetic fan support, or calling out Eric Gordon, etc. then you jump straight to personal attacks and accuse the poster of being a "troll".

of course its not. however the Hornets are consistently struggling to get fan support and Shinn even got busted before Katrina boosting the attendance numbers lol.
