How much if any would a bigtime coach like Rivers, that the players look up to, would help this team persuade them to come here?

That graphic is terrible and outdated. It lists Aldridge twice and has both McCollum and Beal who each have already signed extensions. In fact, I’m pretty sure McCollum signed his last summer.

I always liked Otto Porter, he was overpaid, but I wanted to grab him to fill that 3 spot when Washington gave him away to pair with AD. Sucks Dell threw away all of our assets and cap space on garbage.

We shouldn't necessarily be looking at free agents, but stockpling assets to trade for a disgruntled star
Plus, upcoming free agents can be traded for before the previous deadline if they've indicated they want out or won't re-sign
