I disagree. He's too difficult to build around b/c his game is so limited, and on top of all of that, he's a terrible lazy defender. And that last part is so frustrating b/c when he wants to be a good defender, and actually gets in a defensive stance and isnt' lazy, he's a really awesome defender.
He can't do anythign with the ball in his hands other than drive to the goal. He has terrible handles.
When he doesn't have the ball in his hands we might as well be playing 4 on 5 b/c he rarely does anythign off ball, and he isn't a threat to shoot from anywhere on the court.
We can't be a fast paced team b/c he's always lolly gagging behind the play.
His fitness is his biggest downfall, and i'm tired of waiting for him to get in shape. It's been 7 years.

I'm done with him. and i've said that before and came back off the ledge, but that's not happening anymore. His value will never be higher than it is right now as a Pelican. You could still get a good player and 2 1sts for him i think (I hope), which I would do in a heartbeat.

Miles Bridges, Grant Williams, Dallas 2027 1st (top 2 protected), and 2029 1st from worse of Wolves/Cavs. If they didn't want to give up that 2nd first, i'd say fine give me 2 or 3 seconds and be done with it. And i don't even really want Williams, so if they are hung up on giving up him too, then throw whatever other salary filler you have that you don't want. I don't want Saluan (#6 pick last year, just sent down to G-League yesterday and has been very dissappointg), but if they can send him (his $7M salary is what they need to send out with Bridges to take in Zion) to someone like Washington for their 2026 1st (worse of OKC/Hou/LAC), then i'll take that 1st and some salary filler over Williams.
