RE: Talking Heads 1980- 2 guitars, 2 basses, 2 keyboardists, 2 drummers. Wall of sound. I've seen a few videos from that tour. That was peak Talking Heads.

Irrelevant fun fact- the royalties from Mariah Carey sampling the Tina Waymouth song from the Tom Tom Club made her richer than David Byrne.

Tina does credit that those royalties have given her security for the rest of her life and for paying for her children’s education. However, in doing some quick research, it seems David Byrne still has a significantly higher net worth than her.
