I’ve seen them about 150 times. Stopped seeing them as much after Mikey. Seen them a few times with George and Jammy. While it’s good to go and hear them every once and while, it’s obviously not the same.

Don’t listen to the haters in here... Panic pwns and they still put out great performances. Are you looking for show recs? Jams? Recent shows?

TtMT was the first time I heard tBoys when I was a kid... that whole album is good. You can’t beat the live shows though.

If you never saw Panic with Mickey standing up, you never really saw them.

Or if you saw them with a guy named Mickey playing the guitar for them.

I'll defend their first 3 studio albums to the bitter end, and I'll always have fond memories of seeing them in the clubs and other rinky-dink venues. Since then, it's like someone whispered in their ears that they're a jam band first and foremost, so they ran with it but just can't pull it off convincingly enough. Maybe it's the way their songs are structured, because even Herring gets bogged down playing with them, and I know what he's capable of...

Let's face it, their music was never all that sophisticated or edgy. They had an average guitar player that had a unique, niche sound, and a bunch of average musicians trying to keep up with him.

They could put on some damn good shows in the 90's with that formula though. Only reason they were labeled a jam band is because they followed the 2 set with an encore formula, played different sets every night, and mixed in some noodling segues between songs a few times a show.

Everyday is their best studio album.

Light Fuse Get Away is their best live album available on Spotify.

Panicstream.com for almost every one of their shows over the years. Start with 5/7/97 there.

Feb 16-17th at the BJCC. I went and saw them there maybe 10 years ago. Indoor Panic just wasn't that great, and it was after Houser had passed. I was at a Bama game with my dad and my wife called me and said she saw they were playing and bought us tickets. We had gone to see them several times in college, but it just wasn't the same.
