WSP bassist, Dave Schools, has mentioned in countless interviews the influence that a lot of metal bands had on him. Motorhead is in that number.
They are very respectful of other musicians from a broad swath of genres,and often pay tribute to their influences by busting out an "interpretation" of their tunes.
I assure you when Panic played Motorhead/Ace of Spades last night, they played it for one reason only... to honor Lemmy.
It's a "fun" narrative (read: cliche) on this board for some folks to come and shite on Panic, for whatever reason they see fit to do so... but the Panic machine keeps rolling along, and the boys always pay their respects to those that came before them.

I'm not sitting here celebrating the entire Motorhead catalogue...however, there is someone out there that does, and that is fine with me. Thus the beauty and essence of music.
