This album is SO good, but I don’t think it gets nearly enough appreciation. I’m not even a huge fan of WSP and that is top ten all time for me. Most WSP fans I know have it as their #3 or #4 WSP album.

Am I the weird one here? I think it is their best album and it’s not necessarily close.

Most Widespread Panic fans I know don't really give much of a shite about their studio albums. But I'd guess Everyday is the near-consensus favorite, with Mom's Kitchen a close second. I'm old though and first saw Panic in 92.

That’s kinda my point. WSP fans really only care about live shows. As someone who isn’t a huge jam band fan, I love their studio stuff. That’s why I feel it is unappreciated

Blue Indian might be my favorite song of all time.

All Time Low, Blue Indian, One Arm Steve, Christmas Katie are all incredible songs. The problem is, they aren’t quite as good live as other WSP songs, thus why WSP diehards aren’t huge fans of it. To the average music fan, however, it is absolutely fantastic.

It's no more appreciated or unappreciated than most of their other studio albums. When it came out though, it was very, very well received by the fanbase, both older fans and newer fans. I think a lot of newer fans(those that discovered Panic in the late 90's) consider it their best album. The older fans that had been fans since at least the early 90's will always place Everyday and Mom's Kitchen above it.

It is by far their best produced studio album, for whatever that is worth.

Count me as the older. Everyday is the pinnacle. But I would put Medicine over Ain't Life Grand and Butterflies & Bombshells.

A lot IMO. Getting a good quality bootleg wasn't easy back in those days. Now it's just a point and click. So listening to studio albums had it's place.

I actually enjoy Panic's studio albums more and more these days. Its hard to say what my favorite is.

On another note, I got the Montreal 97 Soda Club show on vinyl a couple of months ago, and it sounds so good. One of the best sounding live records I have heard.

Party At Your Mommas House is one of the smoothest, cleanest studio tracks out there.

With that said, my favorite studio tracks are Jack and Little Kin.
