This board is the easiest to troll because of its diversity in music taste 
But honestly that was just bait. The rest of my post was absolutely true though. If I remember correctly the one about what happened to creed and why they are hated.

Bobbyray21, you obviously didn't see my earlier post. I like all kinds of music, and a lot of the bands I like are considered some of the best ever in their respective genres.
Like several people have said, music is subjective. If you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Sure, Creed may not be the greatest band ever, but they don't suck either.

I do agree that music is subjective and anytime I say somebody has terrible taste in music I'm only being serious when they say they love Phish or that The Beatles are their favorite band. In all other instances I'm messing around.
But I do think Creed is bad. Not as bad as Nickelback, but also nowhere approaching good.

I understand where you're coming from, and I respect your opinion. I don't think there is one band in the history of music that EVERYONE loved, even the Beatles and Stones. You're going to have people who dig a band's sound and people who hate it, it's all in the ear of the beholder you could say.
And like I said, I'm not a die-hard Creed fan, I don't even have any of their albums. I just have noticed on the Web that Creed has gotten a lot of negative bashing and I was wondering why that was. But from the responses on here, I get the general gist of it.
