I voted for:
Nirvana
N.W.A.
Link Wray
The Zombies
The Meters

And yes, I snubbed Gene, Paul, Ace, and Peter.

High fives to anyone who votes for these two, even if that vote is rounded out by Michael Bolton, Barry Williams, and the Partridge Family.

You don't get their music or you don't get why they're nominated?

You may personally not like their music, and that's all fine and dandy, but they definitely belong in the HOF. They're one of America's most iconic bands.

I understand that they are iconic and I don't care for them but I think that their catalog of music just isn't that strong. Hey had one very popular albums that was labeled an instant classic. The rest of their work is meh. I know they inspired many and defined a generation of grunge artists but let's face it.......grunge didn't last. I consider Pearl Jam more deserving of the iconic grudge label than Nirvana.

Of course that is my opinion I may be wrong.

PJ was/is not grunge nor alternative. Kurt Cobain said so.
