Went to see Whitesnake/Foreigner with Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin experience the other night.

The Led Zeppelin experience is basically a tribute band. The lead singer was ok on all the songs. Jason Bonham is solid with the drums.

Whitesnake-I was surprised by the energy and sound. I like most of their songs and they sounded great. I really enjoyed the guitar solo's. Coverdale can still hit all the notes. Great performance.

Foreigner- I like Foreigner, but wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was an awesome performance. They played about an 1 hour and 40 minutes. Didn't seem that long though. I knew all the songs. The sound and energy they brought was great.

I go to as many 70's 80's concerts as possible. Have to go while they are still able to perform. That era had some really good music and performances.

Great band. Tight musicians. I’m jealous. Unfortunately, most people consider them only a ‘hair’ band, not realizing that before the ‘87 release and MTV geared, “Whitesnake” album, they put out some nasty rock ‘n roll albums: Trouble, Love Hunter, Ready an’ Willing, Come an’ Get It, Saints & Sinners, etc. Still putting out some great music today.

Saw this tour Friday night in Houston with my son. I was impressed with Whitesnake too. Bonham is doing his "Led Zeppelin Experience" hence the cover of eight Zep songs. I thought they were pretty good.

Never seen the Bonham band.

But I saw Whitesnake 2 years ago.........still great .......just as good as in the 80's.
Wish they would come back near North La.

Saw Foreigner in Shreveport last year. You do know all the songs.........and the new singer is actually way better live than Lou Gramm was.
Saw them with Gramm 3 or 4 times...................just never impressed.
