Just learned about this last night. Comes out on 11/9. Looking forward to the demos and outtakes, but I sure would like to hear Clapton’s stuff on While My Guitar isolated and by itself. Has this ever been put out there?

Best Beatles album, and that's saying a lot.

I’ve heard some of the Escher demos. Think those are included.

It's up there, but I can't declare it the best

It contains so much underrated stuff though- particularly:
Cry Baby Cry
Sexy Sadie
Mother Nature's Son
I'm So Tired
Glass Onion
Martha My Dear

In addition to the critically acclaimed tracks like:
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
Dear Prudence
Blackbird
Helter Skelter
Back in the USSR

Typing this makes me realize how hard Lennon was going during this period, just churning out the gold listed above while also composing the highly influential and experimental Revolution #9 and its accompanying "normal" sister track.

Also "Don't Pass Me By" is probably my 2nd fave Ringo track behind "Octopus Garden"

I agree with what you just said. In my opinion the only album better was possibly Abbey Road.

The Escher demos ARE included. I’ve never heard them. Looking forward to them, as well as a 12 minute Helter Skelter. The 28 minute one isn’t on there.

I think I’ve listened to the White album more than any other, period. White Album, Floyd’s Animals, and Abbey Road are the top 3 in my life.

I even actually prefer Revolution 1 over the faster version released on the single. So much to hear in that song...

Good article about them here that says it was the last recordings as friends. Days later John and Paul went to be on the tonight show. When they got back, John recorded Two Virgins with Yoko, slept with her, and told his wife. The next month when they started work on the album, she was in the studio everyday.
