How?
There are more people out there making great music than there has ever been and it's easier to find then than it's ever been.

What "people" are you speaking of?
Posted on 3/17/15 at 8:17 pm to Tunasntigers92
because you sound old and you say hyperbolic things like "when would you say the initial decline in music began?"

I've fallen into the trap of thinking today's music sucks. It doesn't suck. Like it has been stated, there is more great music out there today and it is so readily available. The problem is you will find none of it on mainstream radio. Mainstream radio sucks...bad. If that is the window you look through to judge today's music then I can see how you come to the conclusion you do.

Well I guess I'm an old soul then.

I apparently should have made the thread title "when did mainstream music start to suck balls"

Dude use the internet.
If you can't find anything you like, you're just willfully living in the past. It's not a today problem, it's a you problem.

The Moog synthesizer gained wider attention in the music industry after it was demonstrated at the Monterey International Pop Festival in 1967.

i believe todays radio and social media pushes crap. there is good music out there but you must search and find them.

I'm glad you posted this, I personally think music went to shite when synthesizers became popular. There just isn't as much soul and meaning in a piece of music that was produced using things like synthisizers, this is just my two cents.
