When will the New Orleans Jazz Festival lineup be available?

I always tell folks that the headliners are not the point at Jazz Fest. No matter who the headliners are, like them or not, go anyway.

Go anyway and hit the smaller tents and surprise yourself with great artists you never heard of in genres you never cared about.

Go anyway and sample the greatest selection and variety of Louisiana foods in any one area. Have a Bloody Mary at Liuzzas at the Track before entering.

Go anyway and soak up the atmosphere of the second lines, the Indian tribes, the fair-like atmosphere outside of the fairgrounds upon leaving.

Absolutely right. I've left before or during the headliner set before. I'm much more interested in people like Sonny Landreth, New Orleans Suspects, John Gros and Wolfman Washington than most of the major acts.

Just book it. Did you see the Bonaroo line-up? Ouch.

What separates JF from all the other festivals is that the headliners don't matter. It's been around for 50 years for a reason.
