the dude just attacks the guitar, and what he writes is so amazing, but it works. NOBODY in this world could pull it off.

Isn't that an amazing experience? It is what is so great about music. Most of the time it evokes memories, but it can often be like hearing it for the first time.

I was a big CSN and CSNY fan back in college. Great harmonies.

Absolutely. At times it bites not having the memories, yet getting to experience it again with essentially virgin ears gives chills like the first time.

I have most of this on CD (~9000 of them total) but working my way through them again will take years.

Also, very American and graphic, but ´she could drag me over the rainbow´ is absolutely beautiful.

Cinnamon Girl- Neil Young

Not VU, not Kiss, not ACDC, THIS was the first song I played in public.

An absolute classic.

I went back and re-read one of your posts where you said you were "re-learning" older artists. Forgive me if I sound like I am prying (and you need not answer), but did you have an injury or condition that affected your memory? I'm not trying to pry, but I was struck by these two comments.

Stoned and uncomfortable, which is logical. An absolute genius.

"Old Man". I remember when that song came out and thought about what it would be like to be old. Now I know.
