I took a “History of Rock n’ Roll” intercession class in college as a music elective. On the first day of class, the teacher walked in with a portable DVD player. He didn’t say a word, but he hit the play button. The song was “Carry On” by Kansas. He just let the song play. He still didn’t say a word. He didn’t have to. The music did the speaking for him.
I still remember this nearly 20 years later. What a bad arse moment! What a great song!

Not my cup of tea, but I admit the vocals were great.
I watched a documentary about Kansas awhile back. They have an interesting history.
I really don't much care for the geography bands: Kansas,
Boston, Chicago, etc.
