Alice in chains rotten apple
What I see is not real
I've written my own part
Eat of the apple so young
I'm crawling back to start

I’m on an Eagles kick, especially after watching History of the Eagles . Can’t get enough of their ‘77 concert at the Capital Centre.

Warren Zevon - Warren Zevon
It's been too long. Just a great album. A lot of that has to do with the players (many just cameo but still..), but Zevon's writing was never better IMO:
Zevon
Jackson Brown (producer too)
Lindsey Buckingham
Stevie Nicks
Bonnie Raitt
JD Souther
David Lindley
Don Henley
Glenn Frey
Carl Wilson
Phil Everly (Zevon played with the Everly Bros.)
Rosemary Butler
Sid Sharp
Waddy Wachtel of course
Jorge Calderon of course
What a crazy amount of talent.
I love the way the songs are structured too, starting with Frank and Jesse James and going more or less historically until modern day with the first and last song sharing opening chords. But the contrast is what is important and Zevon uses it to offer a scathing criticism of his own life. It's always been a Top 10 album for me.

Have the TV on Music Choice Classical Masterpieces. Right now they are playing Handel's Water Music Suite in D Major.

The Clash live in New Jersey, 1980. Odd, an encore has a tune from Sandinista.
