Carl Orff - Carmina Burana (Full HD) (Full Concert)

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is one of the most popular pieces of the classical music repertoire. Here the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra, the University Chorus and Alumni Chorus, and the Pacific Boychoir perform at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis. Series: "Mondavi Center Presents"

Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata composed by Carl Orff in 1935 and 1936. It is based on 24 of the poems found in the medieval collection Carmina Burana. Its full Latin title is Carmina Burana: Cantiones profanæ cantoribus et choris cantandæ comitantibus instrumentis atque imaginibus magicis ("Songs of Beuern: Secular songs for singers and choruses to be sung together with instruments and magic images.") Carmina Burana is part of Trionfi, the musical triptych that also includes the cantata Catulli Carmina and Trionfo di Afrodite. The best-known movement is "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi" ("O Fortuna") that opens and closes the piece.
Carl Orff (July 10, 1895 -- March 29, 1982) was a 20th-century German composer, best known for his cantata Carmina Burana (1937).

I first heard this piece in the 1985 Steven Spielberg film Young Sherlock Holmes.

Serebro - NSFW Russian Girls

...and no, I am not really listening to their music, but the blurb I read on them said their videos were over-sexed, so of course, I was curious.

Jazzkamikaze - LeVel (new album)

This album kind of goes back to a more pop-oriented sound. After a more straightforward Supersonic Revolutions, they kind of went back to their experimental jazz sound on The Return of Jazzkamikaze. Now they're back to more pop-sensible tunes. The second track, Young, is basically a re-imagining of Karaboudjan from The Return of Jazzkamikaze
