Panic was always one of those hit and miss bands for me. I've seen them more than enough times to have an opinion. I've been to shows and thought they sounded like a bar band on an off night. Then I'd go see them 6 months or a year later and thought it was one of the best shows i'd ever seen in my life.

I remember seeing them at UNO on Halloween a few times and thought the roof was going to come off from the energy between the band and the audience.

I've yet to see a show with Jimmy Herring I thought was amazing. However, I love the Herring solo stuff and the work he did with the Aquarium Rescue Unit.

I thought their 4/20 weekend run at orange beach in 09 was amazing along with the 2011 halloween show in Nola.

They will never come close to the greatness they grasped with Mikey again though

Yep. Ole Mikey died on my birthday. Always think about him and what was each year.

ETA: just watched that Jack video. I bet they were filming his hands as a training tool for George. too bad it didn't work
