Varsity booking regularly again?

Just saw a King Buzzo show announced in September - is Varsity going to be getting back to regularly booking acts or is it just shows every now and then

I was pretty psyched to see that. When I saw there was a Baton Rouge tour date, I just assumed it would be at Chelsea's Live. I've seen the Melvins/King Buzzo several times when they've passed through town, but I don't recall them ever playing at the Varsity.

I think they've done this before. I like the Melvins, but not enough to drive to NOLA to see them. Especially when they pass through here about every year or two.

This used to be normal. I hope the old trend of bands playing NOLA and BR on the same tour comes back. Lately, they’ve been just playing one or neither.

Varsity has a few other shows booked for April. They're not back full time yet but it's a start.
