You're a fool
Offers were put in by both venues

because people used to take pride in what they looked like

I'd love to tell you they don't dress like that all the time but they kind of do
. And they're all adorable and it totally works for them

Never mention a word about any show until it's a done deal and your retainer is paid.
I hope for your sake they dont sign radius clauses, which is bullshite for the bands.

Sometimes it helps
Most times it doesn't

i dont follow this board enough to know if one of you two guys works at the local live music venues whether m+w or varsity, but one of you guys should try to get will hoge down here again.

I know his manager personally. He tried to get him down here a year ago but no one wanted to book him.

Sad, because Will's great, but it doesn't surprise me. I wouldn't think too many people in the BR area know who he is.
It would be cool if he were scheduled to open for Wade Bowen or something...they have that song together and it would give him a little more exposure...but Wade JUST played the TX Club so it will be awhile before he makes it back down there.

Never heard about that. Weird.

Yeah, he was there but he played at like 3 in the afternoon or something.

quote:I wake up in the darkness, the clock says 3 AM
"another song nobody will hear"
There's a war raging inside me, so I reach for my old friend
The one who's always been there, to make the pain all disappear
I write another song, another song nobody will hear
This damn guitar knows all my secrets, all my broken dreams
All the joy and all the laughter that I have ever seen
The one who stood beside me, been together all these years
Let's write another song, another song nobody will hear
Another song about redemption, another song of broken trust
Another song about those golden rings that turned to rust
I got pages full of memories, I can see them all so clear
I write another song, another song nobody will hear
I came down here to Nashville with a million tales to tell
The first thing that I found out was that the truth don't always sell
They want songs about the back roads, and tractors, trucks and beers
While I write another song, another song nobody will hear
Another song like George and Tammy, another song like Bill Monroe
Another song you'll never hear on country radio
I got pages full of memories, I can see them all so clear
I write another song, another song nobody will hear
I write another song, another song nobody will hear
that's some powerful stuff

One of the most well written songs I have ever seen. And the truth
