Great album.
I saw him play the Bijou in Knoxville and it was a very similar set. He was great on stage solo and told so many good stories. The story about his relationship with Waylon/Johnny Cash was great and then he did a medley of some of their hits.

Been meaning to download this album but haven't yet. Little disappointed "Tell Me I Was Dreaming" wasn't on there. Underrated song IMO

I'm a TT fan and I heard some of this album on XM last week. Of what I heard I liked.

Back in 92, I was 22 and working as a waiter at Chilis in Marietta, Ga.. My manager and Travis were best friends from HS. They both went to Sparayberry HS.
One night, my manager asked me to hang around after close because Travis and his Warner Bros manager were in town and would be coming by to have some beers and eat wings.
About midnight, Travis and Rick showed up. Travis, for some reason, was carrying a sleeve of Skoal. Not a can.....a sleeve. Guess he had just bought it and had not opened the plastic wrapping yet.
Anyway, we had some beers and wings at a four top in the bar area and decided to go clubbing in Atlanta. So we get in his WB managers SUV and drive to Tongue & Groove. We partied there until about 3am and I got real fugged up. No way I could drive so I asked Rick to just drop me off at my car and I would pass out there in the back seat. Travis said just come on back to his house in Hiram and crash on a couch and Rick would drive me back to Chilis the next day. Rick took me back over the next morning around 10am.
It was pretty cool for me as a 22 year old. Travis was pretty big in country music at that time and he had some really interesting stories about playing with guys like Charlie Daniels and Hank Jr.. He had just recently got to sing the National Anthem at a Braves World Series home game against the Twins. He was a really fun and humble guy to hang out with that night and it was interesting to be part of a celebrity "entourage" if only for a night. There were 100+ people in line at the T&G and we walked right on through when we arrived and went VIP for 3 hours. Fun memory.
