The consensus is that they are terrible

I’ve seen them 3 times and find it fantastic

The light show is sensory overload.
The vocals, especially Chloe Lowery on Promises to Keep, are wonderful. I’d pay just to hear her.

The guitar players are a bit over the top on their theatrics but so what.

If you look at it like a show and not a concert you will have a good time.

It's a pretty good show. The first half can get a little boring but they crank it up for the second half.

Took my daughter to see 'em last year, and it was a blast. Only negative was that a guy a few rows from us actually got a seizure from the lights! I wouldn't expect anyone to become a TSO fan 24/7/365 after seeing one of their shows, but it's an entertaining 2+ hours for sure...

I’ve gone several times and love it. The first year, I sat through it and then it ended, people were leaving, and I was like, “WTF? They didn’t play any of the cool songs I came to hear.” Then they kicked into the second half and it was ALL the good stuff. The first half is the “Christmas story” type of stuff. I don’t know if all the people who left only came for that part and not the”rock”stuff, or if they honestly just thought it was over. Because it was literally like 2 separate concerts and I thought it was over after the first half.

As far as visuals and special effects, it’s as good or better than anything you’ll ever see in the rock genre. Musicianship, vocals, etc. are all fantastic. My wife and kid no longer want to go after seeing them a couple times, but I’d go every year if I had someone to go with. Love it, and it really puts me in the Christmas spirit (and that’s coming from an atheist). Since they wouldn’t go this year, I took my wife to see the Brian Setzer Orchestra at Beau Rivage - fantastic concert.
