He had some marginal talent.
But he was a pedophile, so I couldn't care less.

You’re thinking is quite limited and basically everyone that knows anything about musical talent disagrees with you.

He was passable on the keys for composition purposes, but could not read/write music (which sounds like a guitarist) and anecdotally could play a little guitar, bass and drums, to varying degrees of proficiency.
It is without question that no one would have paid him to do anything other than sing and dance. However, he had enough control of his voice and a ear/memory for music to make his voice a valid instrument for composition as well.
So, shite on his bubble gum, poppy, overproduced, largely forgettable (outside a half dozen real gems in there) catalogue all you want, but his (yes) "musical" talent is relatively undeniable.
Arguably as good a "pop" singer as there was.

I feel like it's actually quite the opposite, and I wouldn't really want to be around those who hold his musical talent in any positive regard.
He was though a puppet, pedo, homo and all around basket case who couldn't get a grip on reality. Which his life and death reflects.

Yeah I mean Sinatra didn’t even dance. Singing only. What a bum.

I have a feeling not being around people is not a problem for you. Ha ha

I've never personally met or known anyone that was an actual "fan" of Michael Jackson. I remember seeing droves of little kids screaming over him in the 80s, but as knowing actual fans, no.
I guess he was a good dancer. ...for whatever that's worth.

Pretty effortless actually.

He was not a pedo, or homo—a weird guy...yes.
As an adult he was a strange cat due to having every moment of his childhood stolen from him from his crazy arse father, then shot up to the most popular icon on the planet by age 23. The guy was mobbed everywhere he went—in every country. He became a recluse.
Those kids all learned to play and make melodies cuz crazy ‘Ol Man Joe would beat their asses if they were late for practice, or screwed up, or talked back—he was on a mission to make his kids a hit so he could cash in.
Think about it...Michael built an amusement park for himself and would have slumber parties, ride Ferris wheels and carousels, and eat pop sickles and cotton candy, and had a chimp named Bubbles...what pedo does all that? He was acting out the childhood he never had. The parents of the kids that sued were looking for quick money...why else would they let a 9 year old go there solo?
and...the dude made Thriller

"He was not a pedo, or homo".
Uhhhh...Yes, he technically was. That's just a fact. ....and I really don't care if he was gay, or bi, but that's also true.
If you want to give him credit for Thriller, that's fine. But yes he was a pedophile, which is essentially as low as one could go.

Don’t mind him. He’s just starved for attention.

Had no idea what a prevalent session group they were, or the animosity harbored over it.
One of my favorite music stories is how their original bassist knew how big Toto IV was gonna be so he quit the band right after recording so he could remain an anonymous studio musician
