Im so jealous u get to experience Tool's albums for the first time. Wish I could be in your shoes. There is honestly no such thing as a bad tool song.

Opiate - Jerk off, Cold and ugly (both live, not sure why people are sleeping on these songs)

Undertow - Crawl away, Bottom

Aenima - Hooker with a Penis, Eulogy

lateralus - the Grudge, Ticks and Leeches

10,000 days - the Pot, Right in two (this album is amazing not sure why people hate on it)

Fear Inoculum - Pneuma, Invincible

Enjoy man. There is no band like Tool. Its an experience

I was pretty late to Tool, to begin with and I didn't get 10,000 Days at first (I took to Undertow and Ænima immediately, though).

Better every time, though, so cut me some slack

To me, 10k days is their second best album (behind Aenima).

Just want to point out that between everyone posting their favorites, I think we've listed almost every song from every album. Just shows you how solid the discography is front to back.

Also, as the hugest Tool fan from 94 on, it took me a good while to "get" 10k. I still listened to it but it didn't resonate with me until years later.

Every non-"ambience" track is very listenable. I can't say I dislike any song in their body of work.
