First electric kit. All reviews say it is the best e-kit for the price. Essentially the cheapest of the high end pro style e-kits.

Haven't been able to play my drums in years because of noise, now I'll be able to play any time no noise.

Anyone have experience with e-kits? I think I made a good purchase but we will see next week when it arrives.

Damn son that's nice!

I got the TD17 last week. It's pretty awesome but I did have to tweak the setting some to dial it in.

The mesh heads are great and the range/response is amazing. You can tap light and work into a full stroke and it sounds damn near identical to my Gretsch set.

My ONLY complaint is I'm having trouble with the hats. They sound good and all but the pedal is way too light for my liking and sometimes the hat will false trigger a second time after a hit.

I'm using the hat stand from my Ludwig kit since the TD25 comes with hats that mount to traditional stands. Got to play the kit at the BR Guitar center yesterday and took the plunge.

You won't regret it. I couldn't justify going with the 25 but if it is anything like the 17 you'll be more than happy.

I bought a TD25KV about 3 years ago and love it. A lot of people bitch about the recording length and other things but I've got no complaints. The sounds are great and so is the response. Being able to play in the middle of the night w/ headphones is awesome.

Makes me feel better about it. I also took the chance to order a new set of Iron Cobra double pedals and a Gibraltar hi hat stand. I mean, I'm spending $2500 on the kit, whats another $400 on hardware?

Coming in today - a day early.

Can't recommend sweetwater music enough. Perfect customer service.

Get some quality headphones with a long chord, you'll love them and love playing again.

I used thin strut and u bolts to hold my bass pad in place. I'll take pics this evening, it works perfect.

Oh, obviously this is a left handed setup. Also if your beaters have felt, don't use it. It destroys the mesh.

Use nylon tip sticks too so they don't splinter and rip the mesh.

Don't know if you bought an amp yet but the Roland models suck. Simmons DA200 is the way to go. I use headphones mostly though.
