i got a friend there now, honestly it didn't even sell out, people want the real thing not some knock off money grab. The American electronic festivals will never been on the euro level and the way things are going looks like all the new people the scene are fricking shite up by over dosing popping rolls like they are skittles. People dying as festivals over here is almost unheard of for a variety of reasons. Also lots of shite kids are taking in the states they think is molly isn't even mdma its Methylone

I have a couple friends there now too. Haven't seen any updates so I'm assuming they're having fun. Once I get off work, I plan on watching the live stream online.

Yeah, it's still early but def shouldn't be empty considering a good bit of people should be camping out there.

What do ya'll think of the Fest being 21+ only?

I think its a pretty smart idea, since how EZOO played out at 18+. Which is funny because I went last year when it was all ages and there seemed to be no trouble, missed this year because move in day was about week before.

yea but tomorrowland main stage was packed by 3, who knows with this festival. The camping shouldn't be an excuse at creamfields the stage with nicky romero had 60k people at it at 5pm

it wont make a difference, you still have newbs in the states popping rolls like candy at any age. Here everything is 18+ and no issues with the drugs. They do what the can to stop it from getting in but they know its in there and do their best to make sure everyone is ok. The festival i saw the most hardcore use at was creamfields and they did everything to make you people were safe. Staff roaming the tents asking people if they were ok while the were sitting down rolling to hard. Free water stations in the campground and in the festival.

just looked at the set times, def lacks the amount of stages like over hear. If i was there the main stage looks ok but id probably be at the full on fery stage the whole time or the super you and me b/c laidback luke is the fricking man.

but this def looks like a heavy main stage festival in general

the fact they are selling tickets at the door

The lineup was completely underwhelming, so I didn't bother with it.

That's pretty absurd that tix are being sold at the door.

And it absolutely is a heavy main stage fest.

You'd find me today at the Deep End Stage. From Soul Clap on, I'd be a happy camper. Jamie Jones closing that area is good stuff!

And It's a Trap Stage- not gonna lie, I LOL'd at the name of that stage. haha.

I've tried to get into electronic music, but I just can't. Everything sounds the same to me. Everysong builds and then just stops so the DJ can play the crowd, then there is a major dropout and then back to the music. Over and over and over again. I can only stand about 10 minutes of it.

well thats just false, but really thats how dubstep sounds. Its all about the drop and the younger crowd eats it up. Good dj's use the drop, loops, transitions etc. A good dj esp in trance will say they are move about taking the crowd on a journey.

Thats what happens when you try to push a knock off of something special to europe. Its a money grab with a lackluster product compared to the real thing. The american summer festival tour has its own unique style and we should stick to it. Ezoo with every dressing up like animals, EDC with all the absurds amounts of neon and the carnival shite going on. Electric forest just being bad arse. Ive also heard great things about nocturnal wonderland.

yea and that basically defeats the purpose of a huge festival like that being so main stage heavy. Id be so pissed having to sit through guetta to keep my place in the crowd after hardwell and waiting on armin

half these dj's are just doing this festival in passing then hitting the major cities later that night or the night before.

Have no idea. Just hungout in the Boom Boom tent at Hangout Fest and hated it. Same song over and over again. Saw Aoki?, Bassnectar and some others.

Steve Aoki- there's the problem there. He spends more time throwing cake at people than actually djing. He's awful.

You have some of the worst grammar I have witnessed on this board. I hope you're posting from a phone where it is difficult to type.
