Time Machine,Tomorrow it's 1994: what songs would be on your debut CD?

you'd have to be able to tell everyone at least the beats and the lyrics....preferably you would be the front man singer.

Absolutely I could do this.
However, the trick is that you have to understand that people in the 1990s wouldn't appreciate Gotye in their time. You would need to release new material a year or so before the actual song/album came out and continue until 2014. That would give you 20 years of continuous hits (and close call lawsuits as well, all of which you would win if you did it right) making you the top selling artist of all time.
Of course when you reached 2014, your career would be over because you would have caught back up to the moment before you traveled back in time. You'd no longer know the future of music and you'd be forced to simply retire or risk being exposed as an unoriginal fraud if you attempted to create original material.

I'd go with Macarena. Nobody knows the words anyway. It was number one for about 6 months.
