Damn, I was wondering what happened to them. I kept waiting for another CD to be released, but now I know why I haven't heard anything. Sucks they got screwed over like that.

Man, I'm really not trying to hate because I used to be the biggest fan (had the t shirt and all) but I really never saw meriwether as anything more than like a high school phase band. Very simple, easy for an early teen to get into. But didn't know they still had listeners.

Drew is a good songwriter that has some good tunes. Can't shite on what he's put out.

Honestly, your opinion is just that. In my opinion, he has put out a lot of mediocre music. If you enjoy it, congrats. However, "good" is subjective.
Like the other guy said, I didn't expect much out of Meriwether. They were a good local band, but that's about it. Nothing about them stood out.

I agree. They were pretty much a band that I could take a chick to one of their shows and both could have a pretty good time in the high school days. I still listen to some of their stuff when pops up on my iPod every now and then.
