Anybody ever used one of their tremelos?

That looks similar and kinda reminds me of the flat-mount Bigsby-style used by Hallmark on their modern Mosrite-inspired reissues. Don't know if they are built in the same Asian factory, but the Hallmark bridges I've been around (two examples) have been nice and sturdy. Really pretty too.

Kinda reminds me of John 5's Telecaster Bigsby

Yep, but that one with the "F' on it, is around $285.
Also it works differently, even though it looks similar. Much more simple than the bigsby on that telly.

It looks pretty sturdy and simple, but It's not a dive bomber, it's not designed for that. That's OK with me. For that price, I think it's worth giving a try. Then I will just have to buy one of the bigsby ones (Without the "F"), if it doesn't work.
It's just a fun little project anyway. I want it to be a cool little guitar that I built and modified.
I think it can be a great guitar too. The basics are there to build on. It's a hell of a lot better than I expected, when I ordered that $150 kit.
As a matter of fact, I played an Epiphone LP Junior at a shop a few days ago, it was nearly 500 bucks. Mine, kicks that guitar's arse. The Epiphone did have a nice finish though and some nice cosmetic stuff.
