Let's hope they are playing stuff like the first 4 albums & not the last two.

On the contrary, they can't play enough off High Country to please me.
Mist & Shadow
Bees of Spring
Dreamthieves.
Hell yeah.

I think I've been to every one of their BR shows. I'll probably go again.

Were you at that last show they played in BR, at the Varsity, with King Buffalo opening?
Holy shite, that was a hard one to sit though. Not that they sucked, but the place was nearly empty. I was stunned how bad the crowd was.
I don't think that'll be a problem this time. And much to Hetfield's delight, I bet they play mostly stuff from those first 4 albums, not that that's a bad thing. I bet they don't play a single song from Used Future.
Winter's Wolves!! FTW!!
I remember seeing them by themselves in that little club above the HOB in New Orleans. A little hole in the wall. Every chord they hit was like getting punched in the chest. Second loudest gig I've ever experienced other than up against the rail for Judas Priest. My ears are still ringing lol.

I was at that show. They were trying to broaden their appeal and move up to bigger venues but it didn't work. They went towards a more country sound and turned off a lot of their old rock fans and didn't gain any new country fans. Hopefully they learned their lesson

I was there. It was in the Parish Room at the HOB.
I was standing next to the speakers by Kyle. I was deaf for a week. I shite you not. At one point, I had to walk to the bar and get water because the speakers had me feeling claustrophobic. It was worth it though.
Tried to go out in the Quarter afterwards but because I couldn't hear shite, I didn't feel right and just went to the hotel and smoked it up lol

To me the newer sound is more towards Jethro Tull and Thin Lizzy.
Either way, I can't wait to see them. I was in Dallas at the Gas Monkey when they played their last show in 2018. My baw caught Kyle's pick and gave it to me. It was his first time seeing them and my 8th. LOL
