This came out either Monday or Tuesday, and I did not get a chance to listen to it until yesterday.
If you are a fan of The Sword, I highly recommend it. Solid. Going in a new direction, but definitely hanging on to that old sound.
Buy it. 45 minutes of metal bliss.

Some good songs but I like Warp Riders better. I got the deluxe version with the extra live songs and the Cheap Sunglasses cover. The live songs don't sound too good but their cover of Cheap Sunglasses is pretty good.

I can't really put it into words, but it's just missing something to me. It's not a bad album, but it feels like they are just going through the motions.

I agree. Warp Riders, IMO, is their best so far. It is always tough to top your percieved "best" album right away.

I agree. Arrows In The Dark is my favorite song by them and that live version sounded lame. From the clips I've seen of them live, the singer's voice doesn't seem to go well with the band live. I don't care, I'm going to see them in BR in Nov anyway.

I saw Torche open for The Sword. It was probably the best show I've ever seen at the Spanish Moon.
