Surfin' Bird by the Trashmen. I heard it on the oldies station my Dad listened to and the drum fill told me I had to play drums. As someone said earlier hearing Van Halen's drums on Hot for Teacher made quite the impression as well; it make me realize I had no shot at doing it professionally.

This one.

I had been telling my parents I wanted lessons of years. I started my first job shortly after I saw this and one of the first things I did was buy a cheap acoustic and a book called "Progressive Rhythm Guitar." Locked myself in my room never looked back. I was a band geek in high school so I already had a pretty good hold on theory by this point.
