Yeah, but he is playing at the MANSHIP now. The senior tour.

as far as I can tell from recent videos. I think it is fundamental... Like if HH came out playing a strat...

I don't really get this choice of venue. If there was ever a barroom atmosphere band, it's Horton. It's like an avant garde jazz quartet playing at a honky tonk.

Ace Frehley played there a week ago. It's the senior tour. I saw the Fixx there a little while back The sound is excellent. Seats are close. But I get it. I'd rather see him at the Caterie too, or maybe Phil Brady's with the chicken wire still up...

They (Fixx) sounded great. Tight. The Bass player is excellent. The guitar player has an cool, low tech set up. Al tele and strat, with a 2 amp set up. One really bright and pingy tone, with a ton of reverb, and a second amp that comes in under with some distortion and effects for leads.

I am looking FW to Horton Heat though.

Good to see some RHH love on here. I've probably seen them more than any other band ever. They had been carrying Lance Lapinski on piano around with them for the last couple of shows before covid (last show I saw period in late Feb '20 for almost a year) and had brought some freshness to the show. Look like they had to drop Arjuna "R.J." Contreras from the band for I assume financial reasons. It was sad watching him sell some of his prized possessions during Covid and you quickly absorb how much their lifestyle changed when not on the road.

It ha been may years, but I remember him just bringing it. He was entertaining, the band was tight, and he can flat out play it...
