I'm an old f@ck. I loved the pixies back in the day. But they are over rated by the kids today.....and you apparently.

Overrated, I don´t know. I really don´t know what level of respect they have with the youngins.
But, it does seem they are a bit cultish. Hence, my comment, as I think it owes to knowing the Purple Tape.

Yes, very cultish. I guess I preferred sonic youth, dinosaur jr , green on red, and even .......ummmmm........crap......too long ago.

Sonic Youth were very, very big, and a personal preference, no doubt.
I love them, yet I get why some may not´get´them.
