I don't think it is worth it, not when they play all over the north and I imagine the hatred for the south will keep a lot of them away.

Colorado airfare is cheap as hell as usual. gonna have to do it. And lockn' is already looking very unlikely, I went ahead and broke the news to a couple of my friends.

How did they handle it? Are they still friends with you?

Done and done. I am flying back to NO from atlanta monday morning early for $125, round trip to denver $237.

Do you think I should request Dick's to or just wait for regular sale to be sure I get three floor tix?

Last year I waited after the lotto and still got fields. I would be a bit more worried about this year since they are the only West Coast dates.

How are taxis/shuttles in Orange Beach? I can see this being a logistical nightmare.

I don't know much about that except that there aren't very many taxis around, plus everyone will be taking them pretty far I imagine so it will take a while.

Like I said earlier I have a friend who has been sober for 4 or 5 years who I usually hit up shows with. We pretty much have the same taste in music. He obviously always drives and I just buy him waters and food or whatever as a thank you. Works out amazing cause he doesn't ever want to drink or anything and has just as much fun as the rest of us.

I need to make some Wharf Rat or Phellowship friends. No way any of my friends would stay sober at a Phish concert.
